Office Manager- Community Initiatives Team

Woodville Alliance is a community-based agency based in Western Sydney, with major programs in disability, mental health, family & youth support community development and early childhood education & care.Role Overview:Reporting to the General Manager- Community Initiatives team (CIT), the Office Manager is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient administration and operation of the Villawood Community Hub and other CIT activities, as well as providing administrative assistance to the GM-CIT.This role has two key focus areas:a) Provision of a welcoming environment and customer service to diverse community members, staff and external partners who access the Villawood Community Hub; andb) Ensuring efficient and effective administrative functioning of the CIT and Hub, and  providing secretarial support to the General Manager (GM)- Community Initiatives.Mandatory job Requirements:Relevant qualifications in Office administration/ customer service and/or a minimum 4-5 years’ relevant work experience.Demonstrated organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines.Demonstrated experience in exercising discretion and confidentiality in order to handle private and sensitive information.A self-starter with strong people skills to liaise effectively with the general public and all levels of staff, including external organisations.Demonstrated high level of customer service skills and ability to understand and respect the needs of people from a wide range of social, cultural, economic and religious backgrounds.Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to draft reports, minutes and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures, including a commitment to Woodville Alliance's code of conduct and WHS guidelines.Current WWCC, a valid Drivers License and complaint with our mandatory COVID 19 Vaccination policy.If you believe you meet the mandatory requirements for the position and would like to be considered for this role, please submit your CV and a Cover Letter detailing how you meet the requirements from 1-6. Woodville is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
